Rome and Tuscany... Spring holiday can't get better than this! Take some time off and explore our 10 day trip itinerary below. Spring is probably the best time to go; prices are cheaper, weather isn’t unbearable and smaller crowds.
Location: Rome Recommended stay: FOREVER... but we suggest 3 nights for this trip. For Rome the things to do are endless, if you've never been there before, you need to visit the main spots;
Spanish Steps (Piazza Di Spagna)
Via Del Corso & Via Del Babuino for some high end shopping.
The list goes on…….
Location: Argentario coastline
Recommended stay: 1-2 nights Relaxation time. Here you will see some of the most beautiful crystal clear water that even the Caribbean can't compete! This area covers some surreal landscapes, between green hills and the crystal clear water. The best places to stay are Porto Santo Stefano, Porto Ercole, Orbetello and Capalbio, our favourites are the first two, as they’re perfectly located within reach of the best beaches. Whilst you’re there, take the day ferry to L'Isola Del Giglio for a spectacular day out on the most beautiful sea. Trust me… you will not regret going on this day trip. The ferry leaves from Porto Santo Stefano and has one that leaves at 9am.
Recommended stay: 0.5 days Wouldn't recommend staying here overnight, it’s a great city to visit for half a day of walking. If you are brave enough, 2022 will host two 'Palio di Siena'; 2nd July & 16th August. The Palio is a horse race in the town square of Siena and the attires are all Medieval, it is honestly a spectacle... but beware the masses will be there!
Location: San Gimignano
Recommended Stay: 1-2 nights San Gimignano is a quiet little town with so much history, good food… and water… there is a natural source of mineral water there that you can visit. If you have a car, you can explore the towns nearby as well, like Montepulciano.
Recommended stay: 3 nights Florence is just the most beautiful city in the world (and I was born in Rome!!!!! So it says a lot). So much history and honestly the most beautiful place to stroll around and get lost in the narrow roads of the city. For the party people, here you'll find a crusade of American exchange students and plenty of bars with beer pong and all the lengthy American drinking traditions. Not going to lie, walking around drunk in Florence at 3am is spectacular (you didn't hear this from us though!). On the more cultural side, you need to visit the following places:
The Duomo and Piazza del Duomo
Cupola del Brunelleschi
Galleria dell’Academia (here you can see Michelangelo’s David sculpture)
Piazza della Signoria
Overall, this is a great trip for the spring time, and offers the best in terms of history, scenery, relax, party and adventure!
